ULTIMATE NORTH CAROLINA SUMMER DANCE CAMP
Join us at renowned University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which lays claim to being the nation's oldest public university, and is home to our southeast overnight dance camp. UNC Chapel Hill is accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and is big enough to contain everything for a stimulating camp experience, and small enough to feel like home. Its campus blends scenic beauty with convenient, modern facilities.
AT UNC Chapel Hill, each room houses two campers who share a bath with the room next door. Hallway blocks are organized by age, and ADTC staff are housed in single rooms on each floor. Building amenities include a main lobby with a large TV, air-conditioning, a lounge, a laundry room, vending machines, and balconies on each floor.
In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), dancers at our ULTIMATE North Carolina dance camp will choose between ballet, tap or world dance for their core elective dance discipline. Campers take four dance classes per day, and at week's end, they get to show off their new moves in a big Friday night performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available at all overnight dance camp locations.
And at ADTC ULTIMATE North Carolina you can enjoy AWESOME ACTIVITIES & EXTRAS like aerial dance, horseback riding, rafting, paintball, trampolines & more! Additional fees & waivers will be detailed in the Registered Camper's Handbook sent to confirmed campers in March. Fees will include any necessary transportation, professional guides (where applicable) & supervision by ADTC staff certified in First Aid & CPR. Optional field trips generally take place during afternoon free time with the exception of a few evening offerings. Note that there always are included (fee-free) activity option available to campers who do not participate in the optional field trips & additional fee activities. Campers planning to participate in most of our field trips & additional fee activities can save money by purchasing our "Unlimited Activities Pass".
