ULTIMATE GREEN MOUNTAINS DANCE CAMP
Join us in the picturesque Green Mountains of Southern Vermont for American Dance Training Camps' ULTIMATE Green Mountains Dance Camp! Our northeast home is the Stratton Mountain School, a beautiful, fully accredited boarding academy located a quarter mile from the base of Stratton Mountain Resort, VT. Completed in 1999, the Stratton Mountain School's state-of-the-art campus is within easy walking distance of Stratton's charming resort base area. SMS is accredited with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is also a certified member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
At SMS, hallway blocks are organized by age. ADTC staff are housed in rooms on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support. Amenities include community lounges (for watching TV, doing arts & crafts and hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, ADTC apparel and souvenirs.
In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), dancers at our ULTIMATE Green Mountains dance camp will choose between ballet, tap or world dance for their core elective dance discipline. Campers take four dance classes per day, and at week's end, they get to show off their new moves in a big Friday night performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available at all overnight dance camp locations.
And at ADTC ULTIMATE Green Mountains you can enjoy AWESOME ACTIVITIES & EXTRAS like horseback riding, kayaking, paintball, trampolines and a trip to the Bromley Thrill Zone (alpine slides, water rides, zip line, mini golf & more!). Additional fees & waivers will be detailed in the Registered Camper's Handbook sent to confirmed campers in March. Fees will include any necessary transportation, professional guides (where applicable) & supervision by ADTC staff certified in First Aid & CPR. Optional field trips generally take place during afternoon free time with the exception of a few evening offerings. Note that there always are included (fee-free) activity option available to campers who do not participate in the optional field trips & additional fee activities. Campers planning to participate in most of our field trips & additional fee activities can save money by purchasing our "Unlimited Activities Pass".
